    To no longer receive our newsletter, please click on the My Account link near the top right of each page. That will open your “Dashboard” with an “Edit” link to the right of the Newsletter header (upper right of the four options). Click on the Edit link.   • How do I provide my art to Green Monster Promos? Top
    If you have art you want to use for your order, click the checkbox next to "I will provide my own artwork" on the order page. Be sure to select at least one ink color Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email from us. You can reply to that address to send your art.

    Be sure to provide any guidance or requests in the email to which you attach your art. For example, if you chose one ink color but your art has two colors, confirm in your email that you want only one color ink used.

    If you are adding text to the art, be sure to describe clearly how the art and text should be positioned relative to each other. For example, "please put my website address beneath my logo." Also let us know what font to use when sending text with art.

     

  • I have a logo I want to use – how do I go about that? Top
    Customizing your promotional product order with your logo is a great way to put your organization's image in the public's eye. If you have your logo in one of the formats that we accept, simply provide that file (upload it) as part of placing the order.

    Green Monster Promotions prefers the following formats: Illustrator, Photoshop , TIFF (hi res, b/w only), PDF (vector based only, please convert fonts). We may also be able to use files in JPEG, GIF, or PNG format, depending on size and quality.

    If you don't have your logo or it is not in one of our preferred formats above, we can help. Our art department may be able to adjust your art, convert the file format, or even create art or a logo for you.   • I want to have some art on my order but I don’t have anything I can use. Do you have any stock art images that I can use? Top
    Green Monster Promotions has stock images that we can make available for your use. Check with us for more information -- click on Contact Us .

     

  • I want to print with more than one color. How do I arrange that? Top
    Many of the products we offer permit printing with more than one ink color. Collecting the information necessary to print with more than one color can get a bit complicated so rather than putting that on our order form on the website, we ask that you call us at (888) 818-4648, or click on Contact Us .

     

  • I’m not great at color matching. What if I pick colors that don’t work together? Top
    Our customer service team excels at spotting color combination problems. We will let you know if we think you've chosen a poor color combination.

     

  • I’m not sure exactly what design and text I should use. Can you help me? Top
    Green Monster Promos is happy to make minor art adjustments, and can help you to create a design, and to write text for your order. If you need more information, click on Contact Us or call us at (888) 818-4648.

     

  • I’m not sure what my order will look like with the colors and fonts I selected. How can I find that out? Top
    We offer the option of proofs. There are actually three (3) kinds of proofs. Green Monster Promos can provide you with a paper proof, a virtual proof, and a pre-production or sample proof. A paper proof is a mechanical representation, almost always using a line art template to show actual size and position on piece prior to an order. A virtual proof is a ‘photorealistic’ pro-forma representation, using an actual photo of product. Finally, a product or sample proof is an actual printed sample of the product being ordered.

     

  • What are GreenMonsterPromos.com's (GMP) policies on helping me get my art print-ready? Top
    We are happy to provide our customers with some free help in readying art for printing on their customized promotional product orders, within limits. Our policies are outlined here.

  • GMP will gladly take your art, text, or combination and create a "virtual proof". A virtual proof (proof) is your text or art, superimposed on a picture of the item you are ordering. We will provide you with one of these proofs, per order, at no cost to you. Note that you must place your order to receive a proof.

  • If you need to make changes to the art or text after reviewing the proof, GMP must charge you $12 for each revision. Note, that if we made an error in creating your proof, there is no charge for the revision.

  • For some rush orders (delivery in under 2 weeks), we may recommend that you waive the proof to meet your "must have by" date.

  • GMP will review all art to determine if it will print cleanly, and will advise you if we believe that is not the case.

  • If you provide GMP with art comprised of multiple colors, and ask for a single color ink printing, GMP will do its best to accommodate you. If we determine that your art can not be reduced to a single color and still print nicely, we will tell you.

  • GMP will advise you if, in our opinion, the size of your art or text will not print nicely within the printing region of the product you have selected. Please keep in mind that the print region on some of our smaller products is limited.

    GMP will convert art that is not overly complex from commonly available formats such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and GIF at no charge. For art that is complex (in our sole judgement), for custom creation of art, and for creation of print-ready art from any non-computer graphic format, GMP will provide cost estimate to you for the preparation of that art.

     

  • What if I don’t want any art, but just text? Do I still need to send the text as an art file? Top
    Unless your text is a picture file, you can enter your text in the text entry box on the order page. Our system will make sure you don't enter too many letters. You will be able to select from a number of fonts when you enter text.

     

  • Is buying from GreenMonsterPromos over the Internet safe? Top
    Absolutely! You can purchase custom promotional products from GreenMonsterPromos.com in complete confidence. We use secure purchasing methods and we don't retain your payment method data. Check in your browser for the "lock" symbol (location varies by browser) as an indication you are communicating securely with us. If you are concerned, we can take your credit card information by telephone.

     

  • What happens to my personal information after I place an order? Top
    We will keep your name, email address, street address, and telephone number so we can contact you, and ship your purchase to you. We do not keep your credit card information once your transaction has been completed.

     

  • What is Green Monster Promotion’s return policy? Top
    Green Monster Promotions stands behind the products we produce to your specifications. Because we are customizing most products, we can only accept returns in the event that we made a mistake, or if the products we deliver are defective. We cannot accept returns once you have approved your customized order unless what we produce is not what you approved, or the products are defective, or our customizations are defective.

    We take great pride in getting your orders correctly produced. In the event of a problem, contact us at (888) 818-4648 or by using our Contact Us page. You must notify us within 21 days of receipt of your order so we strongly urge you to open and check your shipment when you receive it. Do not ship products back to us without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

     

  • Why buy from GreenMonsterPromos? Top
    GreenMonsterPromos offers quality customizable promotional products at very low prices. We offer free 24 hour rush service! We have a wide range of eco-friendly products. Our staff will help you get your customized promotional products just right to convey your message and publicize your brand, group, message, etc.

     

  • How exact are the product specifications, such as the product and print region size information? Top
    All product specifications are subject to change without notice, and slight variance from the posted specifications. We will update a product's specifications if there is a significant change.

     

  • Can I cancel an order or change it once I’ve placed it? Top
    Once you have approved your proof, you may no longer cancel or change that order. In the case of blanks, we can cancel an order up to 24 hours before the date of shipment. If a custom printed order has been placed but the proof has not yet been approved, the order may be cancelled, however an 8% processing fee will be applied and deducted from the refund to cover costs of payment transaction and order processing.

     

  • Can I get a sample of the product I am considering? Top
    We generally can send a blank sample to you if the product of interest is less than $5 per unit at the minimum order pricing. For more expensive items, or if you request multiple samples, we may ask you to pay for the shipping.

     

  • Can I place an order with items of assorted colors? Top
    For orders larger than the minimum order amount, and for some products, we may be able to provide you with assorted colors. Keep in mind that some ink and product color combinations do not work well. Blanks are much easier for us to fulfill in assorted colors. You should call us at (888) 818-4648 regarding any order where assorted colors are of interest.

     

  • Do I pay set-up charges again when I re-order? Top
    If you re-order within a year from your original order, the factory will have saved the screen used for your order so you only have to pay for the set-up of the screen, and not to produce a new screen. In this case, we will discount your set up charge by 50%.

     

  • I have art for my order but it's multi-colored and I only want to print in one color. How does that work? Top
    Send us your art and we'll take a look. We will try to recommend a printing solution that meets your needs.

     

  • If I place multiple orders using the same design, do I still have to pay the set-up fee for each order? Top
    Most products have differing printable regions, and may require different printing presses. Therefore, in most cases, you would have to pay a set-up fee for each order. There may be certain cases where the same screen may be used on different products. To be sure, please call us at 888.818.4648 and we can determine if this is possible.

     

  • What are the minimum orders? Top
    The minimum order amount varies by the product. You can find out the minimum order size on the product page.

     

  • What formats are usable for art for my order? Top
    Green Monster Promotions prefers the following formats: Illustrator, Photoshop, TIFF (hi res, b/w only), PDF (vector based only, please convert fonts). However, we can also accept other file formats such as: JPEG, GIF, PNG and more. If you do not have your art in one of these preferred formats, we may be able to help in converting your art. Simply send us your art and we will review it to determine if it is useable for imprinting on your item. If you have qestions, you may also click on Contact Us or call us at (888) 818-4648.

    We can also help create high resolution ("hi-res") art for you from other formats for you Please note that while we can often do this at no charge, we may need to quote you a fee for more complex jobs.

     

  • What if I don’t have any art for my order? Top
    Green Monster Promotions can help you select art from one of our many stock images, or we can help you create custom art that will look great imprinted on your order. You might supply a sketch or simply provide concepts of interest. Click on Contact Us or call us at (888) 818-4648.

     

  • What if I want a rush order? Top
    We do offer RUSH order production on most products. In general, production schedules permitting, we can schedule an order to be produced, once approved and finalized, in either 1 or 3 days. We make every effort to accommodate rush orders but cannot guarantee these schedules. Note, that if you request RUSH production, you may also want to consider expedited shipping to insure you have your delivery to meet your schedule needs.

     

  • What if I want fewer than the minimum? Top
    Unfortunately, we are not able to offer less than the minimum order amount shown for each product. If you are unsure, please feel free to give us a call and we can try to help you find a product.

     

  • What is a set-up charge? Top
    A set-up charge is the fee the factory charges to prepare the printing screen(s) necessary to produce your order, and to install the screen on the press. Each color ink requires a separate printing screen, and thus, a separate set-up charge. Printing on more than one location, where offered, requires running the product through the press separately, and thus, an additional run charge, and if the art or message is different, a separate set-up charge.

     

  • What is the overall order process? Top
    The time required to complete an order is made up of three variable components:

    The time needed to finalize your order. This consists of making certain your art and text are print-ready. If you supply art and text that are ready for the product(s) you order, this process can be completed in a day or two. If the art or text is not quite print-ready, or if our specialists see a potential problem (for example item and ink color selections lack contrast), it will take longer to get to print-ready. Also, you may need more time to review our feedback and make adjustments to your art or text.

    Our standard production processing normally occurs 7 to 10 days from the time you approve / finalize your order. We do offer RUSH order production. In general, production schedules permitting, we can schedule an order to be produced, once approved and finalized, in either 1 or 3 days. We make every effort to accommodate rush orders but cannot guarantee these schedules. Note, that if you request RUSH production, you must also select expedited shipping.

  • What is your Over/Under Run Policy? Top
    Every effort is made to ship the exact quantity ordered; however due to the nature of the manufacturing process we reserve the right to ship 5% (2% on orders 5,000 or more) over or under the quantity ordered and invoice accordingly.

     

  • What's the story with Set Up charges and Run fees? Top
    Any time you want a custom imprinted product, you will pay a set up charge. A set up charge is the fee for the factory to set up the printing machine for your specific printing requirements. This includes creating a screen for printing your art or text, and putting the ink color you have selected into the printing machine. Different products may cost less or more depending on the complexity of the machine that prints on that product.

    If you want more than one color printed, you will be charged a set up fee for each additional ink color. Again, depending on the product, this may be a full second set up fee, or a reduced fee, and there is almost always an additional run fee, normally assessed as a per piece charge (for example, $0.35 more per piece). This run fee is because the factory must put your order through the printing machine again for each additional ink color.

    Unless you order blanks, there is always a minimum of one set up charge. If you place an order with art or text and you do not select an ink color, you will not see the set up charge on your invoice. We will have to contact you to find out what ink color you want, and to revise your order to include the appropriate set up fee. Confused? Call us at (888) 818-4648.

    Remember, if you want your order custom imprinted, you need to select at least one ink color during the order process.

Finally, a product proof or pre-production sample is an actual print sample of the product being ordered. Note, there is an additional charge for pre-production sample and therefore it is normally appropriate for larger, more expensive orders.

    Green Monster Promotions will happily send you a paper proof or a virtual proof for your approval. In some cases, you may want, or we may require an actual product proof prior to producing a full order.
